Revisionism

WARNING Some of the links on this page lead to revisionist sites.

Revisionism is the misrepresentation of historic fact. In popular thought, revisionism is often associated with the Holocaust or Shoah. Many holocaust revisionists deny that the systematic extermination of Jewish victims by Nazi Germany occurred during the 1930s and 1940s. There are any number of revisionist and pro-Nazi sites on the WWW. The Nizkor Project does an excellent job of documenting the facts.

Revisionism is not isolated to the Jewish Holocaust. A book by Scott Lively and Kevin Abrams, The Pink Swastika, tries to make the claim that the Nazi party was actually a homosexual organization. It is online here. A response to this revisionist history was prepared by Christine Mueller.

Kevin Abrams is a sometimes poster to alt.revisionism. He has also posted to soc.culture.jewish.holocaust. Often, his book is mentioned in his .sig. This caused some stir and prompted this response from the moderators of soc.culture.jewish.holocaust. I think it is a nice statement for tolerance.
